Elkan Investment Group is seeking a Research Analyst Intern to support strategy and policy research by analyzing economic trends, proprietary data, and industry developments. This 8-week internship program offers hands-on experience in data-driven research, market analysis, and policy evaluation to support business decision-making. The intern will contribute to high-quality research reports, strategic insights, and analytical recommendations that influence both internal strategy and external publications.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct economic and policy research using public and proprietary data sources to identify trends and insights.
- Assist in analyzing macroeconomic conditions, market risks, and regulatory changes impacting industries and financial markets.
- Support the development of research reports, policy briefs, and strategy documents that inform decision-making.
- Collect, organize, and interpret large datasets to generate meaningful business and policy insights.
- Create visual reports, charts, and presentations to communicate findings to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor global financial and policy news to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Assist in case studies and benchmarking research related to industry trends and strategic initiatives.

Who You Are

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
